Mayor as Flasher: Another Portland “Quirk”

by Steve, November 12th, 2007

The front page of the metro section of the Oregonian today features a large, full-color photo of Bud Clark reenacting his famous “flash”, this time with the help of Mayor Tom Potter and former-Mayor Vera Katz. I’ve put this into context on metblogs today.

(And yes, I still intend to blog here; I’m just getting my feet wet over there.)

Welcome to Metblogs! I’ll bet you and Betsy could talk for days about schools over there. You two play nice, now. She’s a close personal friend.

I have a pretty good story about the bathrooms at PSU, but I’m saving that one for a rainy day at my blog.

    Back to the grindstone…

I’m keeping my schools activism on this blog. The metblogs readers (and writers) seem more interested in pop culture and beer than school politics.

I keep trying to come up with some lighter stuff to post there, but so far it hasn’t happened.
