A giant check representing the health industry's contributions to Congress was torn up. There are two more events this week, another lunch hour protest at Wyden's office Thursday 6-25 and Sen. Single Payer Action and PDA want some committed individuals to attend this town hall and get Senator Merkley on record in front of his constituents about single payer. He has said in the past he would vote for single payer legislation, but has not even cosponsored S. 703, the Senate’s Single Payer bill. He has recently backed off of those comments. Stand up and get the single payer message heard loud and clear. It will only take a few brave individuals to stand up and demand answers from Senator Merkley.
