As for 65, well, I struggled. This measure would essentially make our major races non-partisan, with a run-off, much like Portland&#039;s city council races are run. I understand the arguments against it; I just don&#039;t agree with them (especially the major parties&#039; arguments).

My support for 65 is tepid, but it&#039;s too late to change my vote!

Re. voting straight dem, all I can say is I&#039;m tired of quixotic third-party protest voting.</description>
