		<description>Clarification:  &quot;eastside streetcar&quot; is used in two different contexts:  

One, the Central Eastside loop down MLK to OMSI.  That has already been approved by Council and the City is in the process of getting funding from the federal government in addition to an adopted Local Improvement District and increased funding from Urban Renewal Areas.  I will support the decisions and promises that have been made for that line.  

&quot;Eastside streetcar&quot; is also used to refer to multiple potential future lines east of the river, lines still at the gleam-in-their-eyes stage.  Those are the ones where I will be asking the Council to be much more strategic in considering, until we fund basic services in every neighborhood.</description>
